Caminar was named an Honor Book for the 2015 Paterson Prize for Books for Young People.
And it was listed as a Commended Title for the Américas Award.
Also – The International Latino Book Awards has awarded it First Place for Best Youth Chapter Fiction Book.
And it was included in the 2015 edition of The Best Children’s Books of the Year, selected by the Children’s Book Committee.
