On Wednesdays, I vow to inconsistently list some good books I’ve recently read.
(Note: This book is an adult book. Older teens would probably enjoy it too, but content-wise, it’s likely not a good fit for a younger crowd.)
gods in Alabama by Joshilyn Jackson was a gripping, edgy, thrilling novel. I was totally sucked in and a little miffed when I had to make dinner in the middle of it. If you’re a fan of Gone Girl, I think you’d like this one too. It’s also a fantastic example of character voice. Funny, smart, scary, sad–this novel had it all.
