Fun Facts about this game:
1. The houses and hotels are wooden pieces. Love that.
2. When you pass go, you get 220Q instead of $200.
3. The board is rectangular, instead of square. Which means instead of 10 spaces per side, some sides have 8 and some have 12. Which is frustrating if you’re like me and you don’t typically count the spaces and instead just hop from one side to the other. Impossible in this game.
4. The property you buy is named after departments in Guatemala. So you’re learning geography as you go!
5. You need to speak at least a little Spanish to play this game because everything’s written in Spanish of course.
I have one son who loves board games and we spend a lot of time with this one. Wondering where to buy this? Guatemala of course! Just another excuse to get on a plane and go there.
