On Wednesdays, I vow to inconsistently list some good books I’ve recently read.
I finally had a chance to read J.A. White’s The Thickety, which I’d been meaning to read for months. It’s a frightening, dark story of a brave little girl, full of magic and friendship and witchery and courage. I highly enjoyed it! It has an exciting, riveting plot AND it’s extremely well-written! The sequel is coming out in just a few months, I’m happy to say. If you like strong main characters and stories about perseverance–
