On Wednesdays, I vow to inconsistently list some good books I’ve recently read.
I finally got to crack open a copy of Christine Heppermann’s Poisoned Apples–a dark, smart collection of poetry that tackles beauty, body image, and society with a fairy tale twist. These are rich poems from a talented poet with amazing photographs paired beside them. I highly recommend this for teens and adults.
