On Wednesdays, I vow to inconsistently list some good books I’ve recently read.
My son recently handed me the first of the Wings of Fire series and told me to start reading. I had low expectations and I’m not sure why exactly, except generally I don’t like books with animals as characters. But this book? Completely loved. Everything about it is amazing. Great characters, voice, relationships, and story arc. There is such great humor! And so many surprises and plot twists. I am off to buy the second book now. If you like action-packed adventures, dragons, and stories about friendships–
