To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han and its sequel P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
YA contemporary
I love it when an author can make me change my mind about something or someone while I’m reading a novel. And I love main characters who aren’t clichés. This one is good and kind and wholesome and maybe a little naïve, but she doesn’t have some condition making her so. She just is. Refreshingly unique.
I love that things don’t come to a happily ever after conclusion in all the relationships in these books, but that there’s peace and closure on everything. Love the idea of friends growing and changing from middle school to high school. Love this character so much.
These are just really fantastic books.
