On Wednesdays, I vow to inconsistently list some good books I’ve recently read.

The Girl Who Could Silence the Wind by Meg Medina
YA Magical Realism
Girl who leaves her mountain village to work for a rich lady in the city. Her brother goes missing and she and her love interest try to find him.
I love that this feels like younger YA and yet it addresses some bigger issues in a very subtle way. This was a re-read for me, and a book that holds up as terrific even after the second time around.
