Wednesday: What I’m Reading

On Wednesdays, I vow to inconsistently list some good books I’ve recently read.

Meg Medina’s Burn Baby Burn is an outstanding story. I can’t recommend it enough. YA thriller–edgy historical, great characters, diverse cast–it’s all there. Plus romance! If you’d like a coming of age story about a girl who learns to stand up for herself set against the backdrop of 1977 New York City (Son of Sam summer) – then look no further.

This is a great summer read.
