On Wednesdays, I vow to inconsistently list some good books I’ve recently read.
I just re-read Jesse Andrews’s Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl. It’s a fantastic book, worthy of a re-read. Don’t let the title scare you: yes, there’s a dying girl, but somehow, this book manages to be funny more than anything else. It’s one of the greatest examples of character voice I’ve seen in a long time. You’ll love the way this story is told so much, you won’t be able to put the book down.
